Fun with Dots and Murini

After work last night, the weather was beautiful and there were a couple of hours before dark, so it was perfect torch time!
Took a long time making the first bead, the blue one with the flowers, but wasn't rushing and just enjoying the process.

This bead was created on a base of clear glass and then alternating rows of Effetre white and CIM Kryptonite. Melted in all of the dots and then on top of some of the white dots, I added dots of Kryptonite and melted those in as well. I then took a white stringer and between each of the dots in the center row, heated and twisted the glass. In each of the other rows I did the same thing, but twisted the glass the other direction. I melted that all flat and then heated the entire bead really well and flattened it with my parallel mashers. I had a yellow/clear mixed stringer on my bench along with some basic yellow and red murini that I thought looked nice with the blues in the focal bead. I did the stringer first, laying it on the bead to look like a vine. Then took each murini and placed it anywhere on the vine that it looked like it would fit. A clear dot on each of the murnini then brought out the flowers a bit more and finished the bead off. This is the second one I made this week with these same colors, the first was given to a good friend before I could take a picture of it, but I liked it so much, I made another! #CIM_Kryptonite #Focals #Flowers #Murini

This bead was created on a base of clear glass which then had alternating Effetre white and CIM Elphaba. Once all the dots were melted in, a clear dot was added on top of each color dot and those were fully melted in. Next, more alternating white and Elphaba dots, but this time on the intersection between the previous rows of dots. Then I added white dots on the Elphaba dots and Elphaba dots on the white ones to give it a layered effect. Once everything was melted in I mashed it on each side to get the square shape. #CIM_Elphaba #Square_Beads
